I came here hoping to get stellar service but unfortunately, this has not been the case. There is a lot of bottle necks related to the way they handle offshore business opportunities. Takes too long to confirm certain transactions

I have had no problems whatsoever working with this bank. A little bottleneck here and there but I think this is standard procedure, and it would happen anywhere. I have been working with them for the past 3 months and all transactions have been smooth.

The appeal of using a name-brand bank is strong, so CIBC in the BVI would seem to be a very attractive choice. Problem is, they are nearly impossible to work with. They are incredibly bureaucratic, it took forever to get the account opened and the paperwork was crazy. Unless you want wait 6 months for an account to be opened, go elsewhere.
